South Boston, MA August 21, 2005 – Mt. Washington Bank is pleased to announce that Julie Jenkins has been promoted to Sr. Vice President, Operations and Technology for the bank.
Jenkins joined Mt. Washington Bank in September 2004, heading up a critical system conversion resulting from the implementation of new technologies. Prior to her role at Mt. Washington, Julie was Sr. Vice President ,Operations and Technology for Abington Savings Bank located in Weymouth, MA

“Over the past year, Julie has taken on a tremendous leadership role in our recent Technology Upgrade.,” said Edward Merritt, President and CEO of Mt. Washington Bank. “Her initiatives have resulted in positive changes for our customers as well as the Bank and we look forward to a long relationship with Julie.”

In her new role, Jenkins will report directly to Edward Merritt, President and CEO of the bank. Departments reporting to Jenkins will include Management Information Systems, Deposit Operations, Retail Operations, Loan Operations and Training.

Julie lives in Canton, MA with her husband Dan and four children.
