Mt. Washington Bank Scores a "Touchdown" with Patriots V.P. Jonathan Kraft and Another Successful Business Persons' Breakfast

Over 220 people turned out for this year’s annual Business Persons’ Breakfast hosted by Mt. Washington Bank on May 18th. This year, Jonathan Kraft of the Patriots was the featured speaker.

In his remarks, Kraft noted the professionalism and commitment of Mt. Washington Bank saying, “Your commitment to the community and customers is obvious.” He added, “Dedication to your customers is the hallmark of any successful business. It is what we strive for with our Patriots Fans and obviously is a philosophy that Mt. Washington Bank has adopted quite well.”

John O’Toole of Olde Towne Real Estate expressed the opinion of all there when he noted the event “got high marks all around.”

Bob Monahan of Julie’s Family Learning Program cited a “newness, a freshness to the event that set it apart” and provided him “a rare opportunity to interact with a wide cross section of business people.”

Bank President and CEO, Edward J. Merritt, said he couldn’t have been more pleased with reception of the attendees or the ease with which Kraft related to the audience. Merritt also noted Kraft’s comments on his organization’s approach could help any business understand what it takes to be successful.

Arthur Donovan of C.F. Donovan’s said if he had to identify one thing he took away from the talk it was “the important of hiring people with passion.”

This year’s event was held at Water’s Edge at the Bayside Expo Center. The over 220 people in attendance also marked the highest attendance of in the history of the event. Merritt admitted topping this year’s success would be a challenge, but he said,
“It’s a nice challenge to have.”
