About Us - Press Releases Mt. Washington Bank Branch Manager Ready for Dorchester Location Contact: Coleman Nee Dorchester - October 14, 2003 --- Mt. Washington Bank is pleased to announce that it has hired Dianne McBride as branch manager for its new location in Dorchester at 489 Gallivan Boulevard. Ms. McBride has over 22 years experience in the banking industry and will be responsible for managing the opening and growth of Mt. Washington's entry into the Dorchester, Mattapan and Milton markets. "Dianne McBride is an extreamly talented manager and a true banking professional. We look forward to her contributions and leadership as we grow our business and mark the return of true community banking back to this area of the city," said Edward Merritt, President and CEO of Mt. Washington Bank. Prior to joining Mt. Washington, Ms. McBride was a branch sales manager and assistant vice president for Abington Savings Bank where she managed several branches, including that bank's largest location. She has also worked for Quincy Savings Bank, Lincoln Trust Company, Boston Financial Data Services and Bay Bank Nofolk Trust. She has attended Northeastern University and the New England Banking Institutue. The new Dorchester branch opened for business on Wednesday, October 1 to great success. The branch offers Mt. Washington's signature Ultimate Service and the same attention to detail that the bank is already famous for with a multitude of modern banking amenities such as a drive-up ATM, multiple inside teller locations, night depository, ample parking and a convenient location off of a major highway. Grand Opening activates included refreshments, giveaways and a formal ribbon cutting ceremony. The new branch represents an investment of over $1.7 million in the community. Mt. Washington will add several new jobs at this new facility and provide greater service for depositors and loan customers of the bank. The new Dorchester branch represents the Bank's fourth branch location in addition to a stand alone loan center. Founded in 1893, Mt.
