Boston --- On October 4 2003, Mt. Washington Bank will celebrate the long awaited return of community banking to Dorchester at its newest home at 489 Gallivan Boulevard with a grand opening celebration. This new branch marks the return of community banking back to this area of the city after a prolonged absence. Mayor Thomas Menino, City Council President Michael Flaherty, District City Councilor Maureen Feeney and other local officials and community leaders will also be on hand to celebrate. Events include a Cash Cube where people have 15 seconds to grab as much money as possible, kids activities, and a Radio Disney giveaway of a trip for four to Walt Disney World.
