recently joined Mt. Washington Bank as a Loan Officer, according to President
and Chief Executive Officer Edward Merritt. After playing 16 years in the NFL as a defensive lineman for the Seattle Seahawks, he began a career at Putnam Investments in 1997 handling customer relationships for Taft-Hartley Contribution Plans. Joe was later promoted to Vice President – Business Development Consultant. " Adding an experienced financial representative of Joe's caliber to our staff will give our customers the opportunity to handle both their short and long term loan and equity needs in one place – Mt. Washington Bank," Merritt says. "A seasoned professional, Joe will help customers through lending products that reflect their specific goals and objectives." Joe will work out of Mt Washington's Loan Center at 455 West Broadway in South Boston. He resides in Wellesley with his wife and three children. Founded in 1893, Mt.
