- May 28, 2009 - Mt. Washington Bank was inducted in
the 2009 Junior Achievement Boston Business Hall of Fame. A breakfast
to celebrate this honor as well as the other inductees was held at the
Westin Copley Place Hotel in Boston.
- September 2008 - Mt. Washington Bank was recognized
by the Boston Business Journal as one of the areas Top Charitable Givers.
Mt. Washington Bank ranked 59th on that list.
- March 13, 2007 - University of Massachusetts
Boston recognized Mt. Washington Bank President and CEO Edward J.
Merritt with the Chancellor's Longstanding Community Commitment and
Service Award
- September 6, 2007 - Mt. Washington Bank
was ranked 47th among the top corporate charitable givers in Massachusetts
by the Boston Business Journal.
- November 13, 2007 - Mt. Washington Bank
was honored at The Boston Club's biennial Corporate Salute.
- November 15th, 2007 - Julie's Family Learning Program
recognized Ed Merritt and Mt. Washington Bank with an Angel Award
for ongoing support of their program.

- July 11, 2006 - Mt. Washington Bank Named
"Best Places to Work in Massachusetts" by the Boston Business Journal
- September 8, 2006 - The South Boston Arts
Association names Mt. Washington Bank as Arts partner of the Year.
- November 3, 2006 - Mt. Washington Bank,
along with five other banks, was recognized by Mayor Menino as a "First
Choice Lender".
